What To Expect

What can you expect at a Beloved Weekend?

Absolute love. Beautiful community. Full affirmation. Powerful encouragement.

You may have been told awful things because you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning—from family, church people, even so-called friends. None of it is true and you don't deserve any of it. You are beloved!

We will answer your scariest questions and free you from your worst fears!

We’ll discuss questions like:
What if God delights in you just as you are?

Is it okay to be queer and Christian? (the answer is "yes" if you're wondering!)
What if all the hurtful things people said about you had nothing to do with you?
What if you are more beautiful and beloved than you even know?
What does the Bible really say about homosexuality?

What about all the things you hear people say?

We’ll answer all of that!

We’ll help you deal with your most difficult situations.

We’ll show you how to talk to family, pastors, friends about your sexuality and your faith.

Reconcile deeply held faith issues.
Navigate family relationships.
And how to be your own best friend.

You’ll connect with others who’ve been through similar things.
Finally, I will tell you all the wonderful things I would say if you were my beloved child!

A Beloved Weekend is a full, in-depth conference in a casual, comfortable style. Details are listed in each event, but we usually begin with a Friday evening session and then continue all day on Saturday. Snacks, beverages, and lunch will be provided.

Join me and we will rewrite old conversations—messages and decisions you carry in the depth of your souls—that prevent you from loving and being loved as you deserve. Come spend a weekend with me and you will rediscover that you are beloved!

It’s a time to break through the shame and fear and confusion. And step into the freedom to BE LOVED!!

Love, Susan
