Beloved Weekends for LGBTQ
Transformational truth, absolute love, lifegiving encouragement, and full affirmation from a mother's heart.

COVID-19 Coronavirus — Important Announcement from FreedHearts
With an abundance of caution and respect for people’s concerns, we are postponing our FreedHearts Beloved Weekend events. Registration for all events WILL reopen soon. ❤️ This was not an easy decision—it is so counter-intuitive for us to keep away from each other. Many in the LGBTQ community already feel alone and isolated, and the current situation could make that worse. In this season, showing up for people looks a little different. To that end, we are planning virtual events, producing new videos, and increasing focus and emphasis on our vibrant online support and chosen family communities. ❤️ We encourage you to join us in those communities, and to reach out to neighbors and friends to deepen community where you are. Please remember, you are beloved! It’s not good for us to be alone and we so look forward to seeing you soon at Beloved Weekends across the country.

A Profound, Powerful Voice
You may have been told awful things about you because you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, or just questioning — from family, those in the church, even those who called themselves your friends. None of it is true and you don't deserve any of it.
Others have told your story, others have made decisions about you and your faith — it’s time to arise and reclaim your story as someone who is beloved.
The wounds may be deeper than anyone knows. It's time to heal relationships with ourselves, with God, with others. So you can love and be loved - as you deserve.
Susan Cottrell is a fully affirming mom of two beautiful, amazing queer daughters. She is a theologian, an acclaimed author, and an international speaker whose TED talk has more than a million views. She works full-time to change the human conversation on love & inclusion.
Susan has been honored to work with thousands of LGBTQ people — to help them reconcile deeply held beliefs — to know they are beautiful and beloved, just as they are.
Join her at a Beloved Weekend for some paradigm-shifting, transformational teaching and beautiful community.

You Are Gloriously Beloved
Your story may be filled with hurt from family, church, and community. Some of it from as far back as when you were a young child. This has become your story.
But what if God delights in you just as you are? What if all the hurtful things people have said about you had nothing to do with you? What if you are more beautiful and beloved than you even know?
With the tender, affirming voice of a mother, and the powerful depth and wisdom of a theologian, Susan will answer your scariest questions and discuss deeply held faith and family topics.
Your heart will be freed to love and be loved—as you deserve. Beloved, it's time to arise.
